Product Information & Availability

All orders are processed and shipped as quickly as possible. On rare occasions where our stock is fully allocated we may ship direct from the manufacturers to you. If for any reason the product you’ve ordered is no longer available, or there’s been a price change, we will notify you within 3 days and offer a full refund, the option to pay the difference or for you to choose an alternative product. Order acceptance takes place at point of despatch.

Whilst every effort is made to represent every product accurately, some images may be for illustration purposes only or specifications amended.

After Sales / Customer Service

Car Mod Shop LTD prides itself on its customer and after sales service. We strongly believe that setting out our terms clearly rather than burying them in small print is what our customers should be able to expect from us.

Nearly all of our orders are processed without incident, goods are delivered on time and work without any issues. However on occasion things do go wrong. Parcels can get mismanaged by couriers, traffic or weather can prevent deliveries arriving on time, manufacturer’s specifications can be inaccurate and items can develop a faults. Our challenge is not just to provide high quality, excellent value products, but how we manage such incidents within our after sales service to you the customer. We strive to achieve excellence and simplicity in all we do, and are confident that these business ethics are why we stand out from all other on line retailers in our market.

Technical Help

We can provide you with a wealth of technical knowledge by either a phone call or an email, and if we don’t have the answer you need we will either get it for you, or provide you with details of someone who can.

Damaged/Missing Items or Wrong Items

PLEASE EMAIL IMMEDIATELY TO REPORT ANY DAMAGE

Nearly all our orders arrive on time and in the same excellent condition they left our warehouse. If damage is noticed at point of delivery then please refuse the order and it will be returned by the driver, some standard delivery Royal Mail deliveries may be an accretion to this process, please take advantage of this service wherever possible so damage can be reported immediately and the goods taken away and quickly exchanged.

As with all new purchases, we understand that you will want to open and test your item as soon as it arrives. It’s very important that you report any damaged, missing or incorrect items to us as soon as possible, preferably on the day of delivery. If this isn’t possible we consider it reasonable that your items will have been checked and reported within 5 days. If you do not intend to use your goods immediately, please open and inspect them before storing, Damage requests reported too late will be refused.

NOTE: Do not try to use any item that appears damaged without calling for advice first.

We want to sort any such issues out for you as soon as possible, so please contact our customer service team immediately for a solution and resolution.

Although the shipping costs apper to be free. They are included in the total price. Therefore refunds within the 30 days will be minus original shipping costs. For example, Large letter sizes = 99p, Small packets = £2.50, Signed for 24 = £3.25, Next day & Large items = £6.95

Failed Deliveries

We understand that sometimes you will not be available to receive your goods. If you have ordered a small item, it may be left at your local post office or courier depot for you to collect (you will receive a card informing you of this). For large items, if you are not available to receive your goods, a second attempt at delivery will be made the following day, if still unsuccessful there will be a redelivery charge.

Please remember it is your responsibility to ensure that the items purchased are suitable for your vehicle make/model and that the use of said items complies with all applicable laws in your Country. Please also note that under UK regulations HID kits are not yet approved road legal, this is because HID kits are not e-marked approved in their entirety. Until UK regulations are changed or up-dated our HID kits are sold for off road and show use only.

Please also check all items are in working order before fitting as we cannot reimburse any fitting charges undertaken.

International sales

All our items come direct from the UK or Germany. Items shipped to countries out of the EU maybe subject to import duty. (Usually items over the Value of £18) You the buyer are responsible for paying this. Car Mod Shop Ltd does not take any responsibility for this. If you are not sure please check with the local authorities before buying

Privacy Policy

Here at Car Mod Shop Ltd we take your privacy very seriosly and will only use your personal information to administer your account to provide the products and services you have requested from us. We will not contact you by means of marketing or anything else.
We share your information with third parties to allow the delivery of your order. This would be suppliers and delivery companies only.
We store your data on our ecommerce platform VoloCommerce Eu based server with the highest standards in data protection and security.
We store your data for 2 years to keep track of date of sale and for warranty purposes. If you wish to have your data removed please contact us sales@car-mod-shop.co.uk and we will have your data deleted.
Credit cards are processes by Paypal and we do not see or store any of these details.
